Difference between ERP and Netweaver

Netweaver is a platform, and ERP is an application.

All applications needs to be installed over a plaform... netweaver is generic, whereas application differs.

Ex: ERP, BW, EP, CRM are plaforms and needs to installed in Netweaver.
